I find that all the art I love most is really bright and unrealistic colours- so I wanted to do something more like that for once! Usually I just drag in a palette and then adjust it with overlay or sliders, so even if the skintone is a bright pink, it's come from a skintone originally. Here I just grabbed a yellow and decided that was the main colour I wanted to work around. I had a vague yellow-green theme in my head, but it took a lot of messing about to make it feel cohesive! Non-warm colours are way out of my comfort zone. You can see I tried to get purple in there, but it didn't really fit. There are lavender and violets in the background for gay symbolism, I swapped the violet flowers for violet leaves in the end, and the hands around Billie are Berthas ;P. 

This only took a couple of hours, and was super unplanned so none of it is particularly well thought out ;P, I have a tendency to go too far on things so I tried to leave it loose.
