Sylvia & Jerry- Maria comic # 3- process (Patreon)

Here's another page of the Sylvia and Jerry comic! I'm sorry my process is quite repetitive, there's nothing exciting to show :P! I struggled with the text for the last panel- I wanted an acknowledgement of Sylvia not being out as trans yet, but I didn't think I could handle a straight up misgender from Jerry- even if she doesn't know better. This version is maybe a bit subtle for most people to catch but hey ho...

The last photo is a redraw of a charity case panel with ink, to test out using a darker grey. I actually far prefer just one grey like the above comic, but I don't know how to tackle Romans skin tone yet! Adding another grey is a lot of work (and I actually have to add two greys, to include a shadow on him too) but I don't think I can get away with not colouring him at all so! I need to work harder at it :P.
