0056 - Ethan Foley (Patreon)

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to SMART KID WEEK!

Five updates this week so we can cover all of the gifted kids Bart interacts with in the Enriched Learning Center For Gifted Children.

First up is Ethan. Ethan is the one who loves palindromes ("O Memsahib Bart. Rabbi has memo!")  Now, if I were a much smarter man, I'd attempt to fill this post with palindromes, but frankly his is fairly low effort and nonsensical, so here's all you're getting: racecar.

I gotta respect Ethan for pursuing his passion though. The audacity of introducing yourself to someone with a palindrome makes for an unforgettable first impression, one likely to encourage people never to reach for a second impression. Bow-ties are rarely a good first impression look either, but hey, at least he's trying to look good I suppose.

Ethan is one of few Simpsons characters to actually have eyes the way I draw eyes, with no white, just pupils. This is rare in the show, but is how I like to draw, so perhaps this is the closest I've actually come to representing a character yet.
