State of the Patreon - September 2021 (Patreon)

Hi-de-hi, campers!

So it’s been a month of the Patreon, and I thought it’s be a good idea to discuss how things are going! Think of it as like a performance review. No, wait, that sounds tedious and boring. Think of it like a DYNAMITE EXHIBITION. KA-BOOM!

Firstly, thanks so much for being a part of my Patreon! I am grateful and stunned that anyone would want to see the work I’m doing, I’ll never never take that for granted. Thank you.

The August A5 prints are at the printer, im just waiting to receive them any day now and then I can send them out! If you’ve ordered an “Eye on Springfield”, they will hopefully be out before the end of the month too!

I’ve begun working on the September A5 print too, hopefully I can reveal that soon.

Every Simpsons Character Ever is going very well, we’re getting through them at a decent pace. Not to spoil things too much but by the end of September we’ll be in the actual series! I’d like to pick up the pace a little, but I’ll see how much I can keep up with my day job schedule.

I have some other bits and pieces that I’m working on as well, including a daily project in October that I think you’ll all like, but most notably I have another short comic in the works! I’m not sure how long it’ll take but for now I’ll give you the title: Moonslayer.

LASTLY, I’d like to do a monthly character request art jam thing! If you have a character you’d like me to draw, leave it in the comments and I’ll get through some and post them later in the month. I’ve done this on Twitter a couple of times and it’s always fun. Request any character you like, they can be from anything!

I’m finding a balance between my day job, being dad to an energetic toddler and making cool stuff, it’s exhausting but fun.
