The New Tiers (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

As you might've gained from my past posts, I was planning to launch new tiers for you, in order to make things easier for everyone and put out even more content.

There will be three new tiers:

1. GotSIS Enthusiast ($6): A story-exclusive tier, which will be for those patrons who ONLY read the story, Guardian of the Soul Infinity Saga. This tier will have --

  • 4 early chapters of GotSIS

  • 1 early chapter of Black Dawn

  • All Marvel crossover short-pieces

  • GotSIS Lore compendium (Spells, theory of magic, cosmos, etc. which will be an extra trivia to the story)

  • Regular privileges (Polls, character christening, discord roles, etc.)

2. LoSP Lover ($7.5): The second story-exclusive Tier will be for patrons who are only interested in the PJO fandom and my story, The Legend of the Son of Poseidon. It will have:

  • 3 early chapters of LoSP

  • All Side Stories of LoSP

  • All PJO short pieces

  • Side stories to the Sequel of LoSP when it starts (Which the tier name will change to reflect.)

  • Early access to the sequel chapters (in the future).

  • Regular privileges.

3. Galactic Voyager ($10): This will be a MAIN TIER, much like the Mystic Seeker tier is. It will be the top tier with access to ALL my content, be it stories, short-pieces, and the exclusive tier access to my more... mature pieces, shall we say.
I currently plan for it to have the following:

  • 4 Early chapters of Black Dawn

  • 4 Early chapters of GotSIS

  • 3 Early chapters of LoSP

  • 3 Early chapters of RoLP

  • All side stories and Short Pieces

  • Exclusive access to the Hot pieces (the mature content like my short-piece, The Date Pt.2: The Desert)

  • Lore compendium for Black Dawn

  • Lore Compendium for GotSIS

  • Regular privileges

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Now, as for the publishing and launch, I plan to officially launch the tiers on the 1st of August. Now, since I am only human, and it would be hell lot of work, it will take time to have everything going on.

I have to edit over 100 posts to be available or restricted to the new tiers and do it with precision, ensuring there are no mishaps. And that's aside from publishing the additional chapters.

So, if you do not see everything at once, or see restricted posts despite you having a higher tier, please do not panic or go ballastic on me. It will take me time to sort everything out and publish everything in a sane manner, so as to drive not only myself but you all insane with the Patreon mails ringing your table off the desk. ;D

I plan to publish an additional chapter of each story on the 1st of August (except Agent Potter) in addition to the launch of Black Dawn which will go live for Galactic Voyagers first, with the first 2 chapters of the story. They'll be followed by Mystic Seeker patrons within a week or so.

As for the rest of the updates that I've promised, I will scatter them throughout August. It is likely that I'll be doing a double update for Galactic voyager with each normal update for the coming month. And of course, the same goes for story exclusive tiers too.

Thus, by the end of the month, everything will be on track, if not before. (My main plan is to wrap it up and settle in a stable schedule by 15th August but I am keeping a 2 week buffer just in case.)

As for the current tiers, everything will happen as it is happening minus a small surprise that will soon come along the way. There'll be no major changes in the way the stories are published but they will gain an upgrade, with Black Dawn having two early chapters instead of one like GotSIS currently does.

How do we change if we want to change? Do we just let you know?

If you want to change the tier, just subscribe to the new one and you'll get it. As far as I know, you'll have to pay the difference for the first time if your subscription is still ongoing. And thus, for a short while, you will also get advantages of both the tiers until your current subscription lasts. Next cycle, you change over to the next tier completely and totally. (I'm not 100% sure on the dual tier for a short while thing so check it if you wish to. Patreon policies are vast and tricky at times. But it is what I hope and think it is.) As for you letting me know, it wouldn't make a difference as I have no control over your subscriptions. I just publish my stories for you. :)

But if I want to have all access to black dawn, why do I need to get pjo as well. Why is there no middle tier? You distinguished between pjo and gotsis with different tiers even with nearly same amt of chapters [4 if I recall]. If I have to pay double the cost of gotsis just to get exclusive chapters for black dawn too, I am paying extra for pjo chaps which I may not want. There should be a mid tier or the pricing a lil different. Say for ex 4 dollars each for gotsis, pjo and black dawn separate tiers and 10 for the combined one. That way you can sell the bulk deal logic easily. Obviously you do need to get rid of old tiers or maybe reduce their offerings as people compare names and price first and then check contents.

I... am not exactly getting your point. Are you saying that I should have a Black Dawn Enthusiast Tier? Because rn, that would be redundant, considering the story has practically no followers. It isn't even published yet for the public, to be more precise. And if you're going for a middle tier, that is Mystic seeker right now. You will get 2 chaps of both Black Dawn and GotSIS there in time so it is best for it. If you're here for the Harry Potter stories, that's RoLP, BlackDawn and GotSIS. At that point, you may just pay the whole thing. I do not publish story wise. I do it as per content cycle in the main tiers. The exclusive tiers are there solely for making things a little easier for those who want only a particular branch of content. Now, mixing and matching stuff as you might want, will drive me mad with all the tiers and publishing. If you're here for more than one story, it is best if you go for either mystic seeker or galactic Voyager. I am not going to reduce any content or touch previous tiers. The GotSIS tier is for 6 and bulk deal is for 10. (Not double by any means.)
