Releasing this Public in honor of the trail.  

The Appalachian Trail was established October 2nd.   This caption is dedicated to the Thru Hikers, those who finish and especially those who can't complete the trail due to events beyond their control.
Trail culture is unique and Trail magic is hard to match.  Life on the trail is like being in another world.  Hiking the trail is often a form of therapy and I wonder how many lives it has saved.  

"Trail Days" is a celebration in Damascus Virginia and is timed for mid-late May, about the time a lot of North bounders who started in March are passing through.    It's a cool festival even if you are not ontrail and just visiting for the day.
