April 2022 Sketches 3 - Vishnal (Rune Factory 4) (Patreon)

Here's a picture featuring Vishnal from Rune Factory 4. The idea was suggested by Allen U. Took some liberties with the idea.

"Bado once again found an item he thought was useless and takes advantage of Vishnal’s naivety by saying it will make him a great butler. As per usual. This time it was a ring with a gem on it. Lest came by and complimented Vishnal on his hard work. Bado thought he saw the gem shined brighter when Vishnal thanked his master but brushed it off.  Vishnal continued to be the best butler he could be.

He always became happy whenever he felt he was doing his best. Each time he was able to be useful or complete a task, his joy would be reflected in the gem of his ring. He was getting stronger, as such, he started being able to do more daunting tasks that required more physical strength. He was getting taller, now able to reach areas to clean or stack. His outfit would get tighter but never break as he felt being out of uniform was not appropriate for a butler. That was because the ring was tied to Vishnal’s feelings of a butler. His size reflected his passion to be the best butler.  

Lest welcomed the growth of Vishnal. It was a gradual change but a welcomed one as he felt protected by his large compassionate butler. Bado on the other hand felt inferior to the growing guy. The ring would make sure that Vishnal was always clothed no matter how tight, always aware of his surroundings as to never break anything in the household, and always able to limit his strength as to never hurt anyone. Vishnal will become the best, and the biggest, butler there ever was. Even though he’s already achieved such a feat and will continue to surpass it"

I think the idea works nicely as a story, the only thing I'm changing is him keeping his clothes intact. haha

So here's him and Lest going back to the village, after Vishnal offered himself to clear the way to a new area to explore. Lest is showering Vishnal with compliments, the bigger butler happily receiving the compliments, feeling honored that his lil "princess" (Lest is a boy, but Vishnal likes to call him "princess") is giving him so much praise.
