Sometimes Grant just gets bored and looks for random people to ambush and eat. Their fearful heart beats are pretty tasty for him, making him bigger with each beat, and their bodies add up to his muscle mass. He can keep the souls of the people he eats inside him, to just mess with them and consume more of their fear. But he can let them go and return their body whenever he wants with his shady powers, but he tends to keep them around for a while to just mess with them and for them to serve him, specially if he finds some favorite ones.
