Fairy Food for the Fairy Boy (Full Set) (Patreon)

This is the winner sketch of a previous month, fully colored.

I drew this picture to celebrate the launch of Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition on the Switch, since I kinda really wanted to play an HD version of the full game instead of just the 3DS version.

I played as Link so much, that he was the first one to reach the maximum level. And since some missions are limited to beat with specific characters, but can also choose a second character to tag along, I always chose Link as the second character if it wasn't a Link exclusive mission. So Link would always be there like a "big bro" you can depend on when one of the other warriors is having trouble with a fight.  haha

...And of course, I imagined he would grow bigger and stronger with each level up. haha!

Now, a feature I neeeeever used in both this and the 3DS version, was the "My Fairy" thing. I dunno, I never found it to be too appealing or useful to the gameplay, it was kinda cute though. But what a bummer that there weren't any male fairies...So I just kept on finding "Fairy Food" while playing, but kept on hoarding it since I never used it on my fairies...And then the idea for this picture appeared in my head.

So, after Ravio had some trouble with the current match, he decided to head to the Main Base. That's when Link arrived into the battlefield, offering his assistance. Ravio, being someone that doesn't like to have his own hands dirty, accepted the offer quite gleefully!...But the moment he agreed, he could hear a loooooud growl coming from Link's stomach, Link scratching the back of his head sheepishly after that. As much as he wanted to get this match over with, Ravio couldn't send Link with an empty stomach.

Ravio tried to look for some regular food inside his wagon, but all there was in therewas a bunch of "Fairy Food" that he was planning to just sell at a decent price. He decided to take one bag out, while Link was waiting outside, sitting on the wagon. After Ravio sitting right next to Link on the wagon, he offers some fairy food to Link. Link had a weirded out expression at first, knowing it was fairy food, but the moment he tasted it...he started chomp down the piece of food like a wild animal. Once he was done, and burping a bit, he looked at Ravio expectantly, Ravio, a bit nervous with how quick Link ate that piece of food,  hesitantly brought some more food out of the bag, and got it close to Link's face. Link just went ahead and ate the food from Ravio's hand, licking it in the process in case there were some remaining pieces of food. 

That's how it kept going until he finished a whole bag. But that was enough time for Ravio to notice something, Link got bigger with each piece of food he ate! It...was kind of scary, he couldn't deny that, but with Link being already pretty strong to deal with the enemy army, a BIGGER Link would be able to defeat (and probably eat) any army that gets in his way! Ravio jumped down to get more food bags from the wagon, and brought it back up the wagon, only to be received by a very expectant, hungry and bright eyed Link who just opened his mouth and pointed at it, as in saying "Feed me more!". Ravio just proceeded to keep on shoving the food down Link's mouth, who ate and swallowed it the moment it got in his mouth. After that bag was finished, Link got even bigger, using more space over the wagon, and making it creak thanks to his weight. THe process kept on going, Ravio also asked the soldiers to gather more Fairy Food to bring it back there, and feed it to Link.

SOoooo, in this picture, here's how Link is looking so far after eating a bunch of Fairy Food bags. He seems to be enjoying all the food and growing so big and strong...and seems like Ravio is enjoying feeding Link more than the idea of beating the match any time soon. haha

I thought about the title because in some games, people call Link "Fairy Boy". haha
