In more ways than one. I was strapped for time getting this one out, so its PC only. I think there are only Windows users here anyway, but I'll try to get the OS X version out by month's end.
There's new features and thousands of lines of new code. I had to step on some things, and trivial bugs have popped up all over the place. Running on a 4:5 monitor is especially horrible, I hope most of you are wide-screen.
I know what you're thinking: the particle effects that are way over the top for our new character took all my time. Not so. Getting art and messing with it, changing the way light works when you're outside, making the music cross-fade in-synch, these took time. And I managed to get a cold. It's not a bad cold, but it made me want to sit in a blanket with a cup instead of working.
Anyway I had to rush getting us to the tower top and getting us to the next great obstacle before I could flesh-in everything else. I just needed that skeleton in place.
It won't take much time to see all the new content, for which I apologize. Go to the top of the west tower and enter the alchemist's chambers. You will get a bottle in your inventory. The other four are already in place. You know what to do. I hope it doesn't crash.
Those bottles and a lot of other things will be hidden in the passages below, eventually. Right now my focus will be on the executioner (commissioned already), a little more sex (I have three scenes planned for the available space), and then filling in the dungeon, and maybe even opening up the mines.
