Here are two renders I've started this weekend during the Daz+ Live Stream. We let the audience vote which head scan I should convert into a portrait, and it was a close tie between Matthew (here seen as a pirate), and young Alexia. We had a bit of time so I made both - one a little faster than the other. The details always take the longest, and I took some time this evening to finish them both off. You're officially the first people to see them.

And because pictures apparently say more than 1000 words, I've added some process screenshots into the mix, in case you want to check out some of the settings I've used. Both images were rendered with transparent background and a bit of postwork in Photoshop, with blended in images courtesy of Canva.

In other news, I've taken a stab at recording the Body Scan to Daz Studio series I've recently made in German today. I've been meaning to add more videos to my German channel but keep getting waylaid by more pressing things. Today the time felt right and I managed to record the whole series in one swoop.

It's an interesting challenge for me, not only because I don't get to speak much German any more these days, but also because there's a huge difference between conversational and technical talk. Most if not all 3D terminology I've picked up in English, so I have no idea if what I'm making up on the fly is actually stuff German 3D artists would use. Let's find out, I'll post the episodes here when I'm done editing them.

Have a good week, you good people 😎
