This is a slightly advanced topic I wanted to include to get you started with some basic understanding on how you make yourself sound the best. I'll explain how to apply audio filters for voice compression and noise reduction, as well as how to auto-dim your game audio when you speak, a technique called Sidechain Ducking.

I was debating whether to bring this up slightly later in the series, in favour of getting everyone up and running with their first stream earlier (and subtract confusion along the way), but I decided that audio is an important feature and to leave it at this point in the sequence. Let me know what you think.

I'll make the mix a bot louder in the final version; I've noticed that exporting the final version from Camtasia is great for the image quality vs file size, at the expense of audio levels. Camtasia is trying to be "clever" and reduces the mix that Premiere has exported by a few dB. When I do it the other way round, i.e. import the Camtasia video and use Premiere for the final output (which I'm using for the audio mix), it sounds a little better.

Interesting, isn't it?
