Streaming 102: Web Cams and Layers in OBS (Patreon)

In this episode I’m explaining how to stack layers and make various sources appear in the same time in one scene. I’ll add my webcam and transparent text over lays from a PNG, and I’ll show you how to use the built-in text tool in OBS.

It took a little longer for me to post these episodes, here’s why: I’m recording them with Camtasia, which doesn’t have the best audio processing. So after editing, I’m exporting the voice track to Premiere, then add it back to Camtasia for rendering.

I’m also spending a bit more time tidying up some rough spots, so what I might do is post rougher versijns here and keep updating these posts when I’m done with polishing them. That way you get the raw info first hand and faster. Vimeo allows me to override the actual video file, and easier for me give you an ad-Free experience too.
