What do you think of the CHARGE UPFRONT method? (Patreon)

Hello, dears! 💕 As some of you have already noticed, this month I started with the SFW poll! We're at a draw right now, so please, remember to vote to help me choose! I love all the ships listed, so it would be really difficult for me to pick one 😅

That said, I have some news! I'm thinking to switch my Patreon to the charge upfront method, to match my new reward types. What would this mean to you, my current patrons? Nothing, actually. Your pledges would still be processed on the 1st of each month just like it's always been. It simply means that now you'll pay for the current month: for example, on November 1st, you'd be charged for November itself. I've always run my Patreon on this model, actually, even though your payment on the 1st of each month was for the patronage of the previous month (for example, now on Oct. 1, you've just paid for the rewards of September). I would have liked to run my Patreon like this since the very beginning, but it wasn't a feature accessible to everyone. Now I'm glad that I can do it! Still, it's only fair that I ask you, even though this would mostly be a pro forma adjustment for us!

Yet! This actually would mean something for whoever became my new patron from now on. Why? Because they would be charged the day they decided to join our community. I feel that to do so now makes sense, especially since I updated my tiers and rewards so significantly. You, my patrons, now have access to all my previous posts and soon will have the exclusive access to artworks before anyone else and to uncensored content. If a new patron joins us, I think they should be charged, just like you, to access that content, instead of the next month. This also avoids the possibility that someone may pledge to access my exclusive contend just to delete the subscription before the charge day. Sadly, it's something that's already happened to me, but I feel that with the rewards I give now, it would be even more unfair to me and to you all.
