Hi everyone! So our last poll winner was 80's movies! Thank you so much for voting and also for all of your amazing suggestions for movies ❤️

You folks gave us so many recommendations, that we're using them for this weeks poll! And we'll use lots of them for polls to come as well! Thank you again, it's so incredibly helpful having you all suggest movies you like!

All these are great! Princess Bride might be the most interesting, coming off your Spinal Tap reaction. Same director, totally different movie. It's interesting because Rob Reiner had a ton of hits in the 80s, but they don't necessarily represent 80s culture. John Hughes, on the other hand, SCREAMS 80s culture. Both great directors making amazing -- but completely different -- films in the 80s.

The Princess Bride is a perfect rainy day, comfort movie.

You highlighted an important point. The Princess Bride, while fantastic, doesn't necessarily feel like an 80's film or a representation of that era. Every other film in the poll does. If it wins, it's a deserving winner, but the viewer will not feel immersed in the 80's culture. IMO, Princess Bride is timeless.
