That toy fire truck that the kid wanted in the beginning, Santa said it cost $8.50. That would be $117 today. That seems like an expensive fire truck to me, but then again, it did shoot real water.

The atmosphere of these classics is really great. How they talk, dress, even how they move and stand. I think you'd really like Casablanca and Singin' in the Rain. (For next xmas, try not to watch National Lampoon's Xmas Vacation before It's a Wonderful Life; slight spoiler.) A great winter, non-christmas movie is Groundhog Day. I think it's a modern classic.
