Hey everyone!

Last week's poll winner was American Psycho! We have no idea what to expect, but we're excited to watch it.

It's never too early to start thinking about horror movies, so this week we're asking what your favorite 80's horror movie is! No matter what wins I know it'll be a good time.

Props to whoever suggested Sleepaway Camp. A classic "so bad it's good" kind of movie. My favorite horror of all time? The Shining(1980) As for my favorite horror movie franchise, it'll likely never get a reaction but I'll say Phantasm which got it's first release in 1979

If you do Lost Boys, I promise you someone from Santa Cruz will tell you that the movie was filmed there.

I grew up on A Nightmare on Elm Street films and those are always great for cool imagery. People have various opinions about the series as a whole, but most people agree that the first is a classic. Also, there's Possession (1981) if you guys want to check out an art-house horror hybrid where you get to make sense of a ton symbolism and chaos. It actually contains one of the most amazing acting performances ever (the actress won both the Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Award and the César Award for Best Actress for it, but it drove her to attempt suicide making it and she didn't take a jobs for a few years afterwards). Pretty intense stuff and one of my all-time favorite films.

Holy, that must have been a really intense role. I'm definitely curious to see that movie. And we actually watched the first Nightmare on Elm Street and loved it!
