Band of Brothers incorrectly states that Albert Blithe died of his war wounds in 1948, in reality, he survived and fought in the Korean War. He actually died while serving in Germany of kidney failure and complications due to surgery in 1967. After the show aired and his son was made aware of the mistake, he provided documents to reveal the truth.

Apparently all the surviving members of Easy Company thought he had died, and were devastated to find out all those years later that he had lived and they'd never invited him to the reunions.

Oh my gosh, that's quite the mistake to make for the show. I'm so glad he lived ❤️ that's really sad his fellow soldiers also thought he had died.
