Hello my Galoshies! For this vlog, I go into a very in depth makeup tutorial for beginners (based off the look in this video)! Some of y'all have asked me how I did my makeup and I've seen people say they try the products I use but don't get the effect they want. So this video is aimed at people who have some products to use but have never felt like they were doing it right. Hopefully this helps :)

Holy Santa Clause shit, Batman! The patience and delicacy women have when it comes to applying makeup is astounding. Not a fan of makeup personally due to people’s reliance on it to achieve some degree of “perfectionism” and compare each other. Natural beauty is underrated and unappreciated in today’s society. I expressed this to my therapist a few months ago and she challenged my stance stating that it’s a way for women to express themselves - this allowed me to look inward and understand makeup is okay even if I like the natural look. I love the snapshots up close as it gave me a better understanding that you can’t necessarily get rid of texture (generally speaking, I don’t see why you’d want to because texture and imperfections give an individual characteristics and shows that they’re only human). This video was very eye opening for me. Thank you for sharing! :)

I use the same concealer as later on as my eye primer and the shade of lipstick is "Act Natural"

I definitely think that there is a lot of pressure on women to look perfect, rather than a random internal vain need of many women to want to achieve perfectionism. You're treated better the more "perfect" you look. There are also lots of fun ways to play with makeup as an art form! And our own personal preferences shouldn't make us feel negatively towards people who want to do something that isn't our preference. Everyone's just doing their own thing and that's how it should be 😊
