Story: You have a big crush on a girl named Pepper. She's a part of your group of friends, and you hang out together often. You two seem to be getting more and more flirty, and you decide you want to ask her out. But the day before you plan to ask her, a rumor reaches your ears that she's really into someone else. Your stomach drops when you hear the news. In despair, you decide to ask out another girl you know: Sally. Your relationship with Sally is... okay. It's not the most passionate love, but she's fun to be around and you get each other's sense of humor. Your relationship goes on for several months. You stop hanging out with Pepper almost entirely. It just still hurts to look at her sometimes. One night, you have a dream about Pepper. When you wake up, you have a knot in your stomach. You miss her. A lot. You decide that you have to break up with Sally that very day. It just isn't fair to her to lead her on when you still have feelings for Pepper. You meet up with Sally for coffee and break the news to her. As you walk away, you find yourself tearing up. You may still like Pepper, but right now you're just alone. You're sitting in your car when you get a text message. It's from Pepper. She's going to go camping out in pretty cold weather. She wants you to come along. You immediately decide that you will.
