I wanna smash my head into a brick wall. Baby Eevee has been driving me crazy the last couple of days. Has bouts where she’s fed, clean, and even snuggled in my arms and she still will be screaming and crying. Pediatrician said she’s healthy as she just had a check up and isn’t showing any signs of being sick. I’m at a loss. My head hurts . Anyone got recommendations for good affordable headphones / ear buds that can control this noise so I’m not at constant risk of a migraine? 😅

I got some good news from my bio dad who I haven’t seen since before the pandemic and don’t talk to much. (Not out of malice - we’re all busy and he’s a very quiet guy who keeps to himself. Also very awkward. Think you’re awkward? You’d feel normal after talking to my dad 😂) We had a nice phone call the other day and he got me caught up on the family. He’s decided on his birthday next year he’s officially retiring and done with work. He’s a workaholic so I’m proud of him for this. Told me once he’s situated and settled in retirement he’s going to book an extended stay hotel near me and come visit for a while. He’s actually pretty upset he hasn’t met Little Fox and Baby Eevee in person yet. So he wants to spend a lot of time with them. My twin younger half sisters are graduating from high school this month. It feels like not long ago they were toddlers afraid of the Disney cartoon Beauty and the Beast movie and their favorite game was to hide my shoes. One of them got into Princeton University (to those not in the USA it’s a top college in the nation) and I’ll have to ask where the other is going all he said was it’s sports focused…. Which makes a ton of sense as she’s the sporty one. I’m so proud of them and happy for my dad. He needs actually successful kids 😔. I never realize how much I miss my family until we have these calls or one of my cousins hits me up on FB. I’m excited to see him next year if he’s serious about his plans to visit. He hasn’t been out my way since my oldest kid was born almost 10 years ago!

My next ketamine therapy session is today. They upped the dose and the doctor is happy with my progress so far. She feels it will only get even better. I’ve noticed a slight improvement in my mood so I hope she’s right. I saw my dentist last week and need a fair amount of work done. The pain I had is a failed root canal that got infected. So it needs to be extracted with a bridge put in. I also need a few fillings and a deep cleaning to make sure there’s no residual infection. Is gonna be expensive I’m glad they take credit card 😅 my appointment is in a little over a week for all that so wish me luck!

I’m trying really hard to get back into regular content creation now that my inspiration and motivation is back. My biggest roadblock is the kids. I can only record when not only they’re asleep but my neighborhood is as well (editing out cars, planes, lawn mowers, and barking dogs is a nightmare). Unfortunately my youngest two aren’t the best sleepers currently. Lately they’ve been sleeping in shifts. One’s asleep the other is awake and wild. I try to get recordings in if and when there’s a brief period of quiet but I can never predict when that will be. So please be patient while production and uploads continues to be sporadic. It would mean a lot.

Early on when I launched this page at certain tiers a patron could get a monthly personal voice call with me. Unfortunately I got informed offering that is against the platforms TOS and I had to stop by Patreon staff. But I really want to be able to offer such experiences to folks who really enjoy my voice and want a special experience. Regular Orki streams are back in full: Wednesday and Thursday evenings after 9pm EST/6pm PST on Twitch. And when I’m able to - Tuesday and Friday nights after 11pm EST/8pm PST on joystick.tv (basically an 18+ version of Twitch). Last Wednesday went particularly well for me and that one I spent talking about my sex worker experiences (mainly working in Nevada brothels). I’m getting that VOD edited down a little so I can post it to Orki’s YT. I did manage to find a video editor for clips, VODs, and highlights (thank you if you applied) who is promising so soon I should have some fun Orki content for YouTube and Tiktok as well. This week on Wednesday I’m setting up a hand cam and trying funky Watertok recipes (if my supplies arrive in time - Watertok is this Tiktok trend where people add syrups and powders to flavor their water and some of the recipes are interesting to say the least). Thursday I’m likely continuing the Sakura Succubus visual novel series unless chat wants to do something else (on the 5th game I can’t believe it lol).
