March Update (Patreon)

I've been working on this months rewards, and hopefully you guys will like the progress when it comes out later this month  ^^. In the mean time, I just wanted to write a post to give an update to what has been happening/will happen with my patreon.

Part Time Goal Met

Wow, thanks! That seems very inadequate but what else can I say? When I started this patreon last year, it was mainly to just try and make some money off what I was intending to make anyway. Suffice to say, I have exceeded all expectations, and now I'll be able to make even more ^^. Who wouldn't want to do this for a semi living? <3

Future Goals

With my one and only goal met, I will add two further ones; One will be for full time animating, the other will be for outsourcing assets. The first goal is self explanatory; the second refers to me paying other artists to create assets to use in this patreon (an 'asset' refers to items such as character models or textures, or environments etc). 

The reason why is pretty simple; My skills lie in rigging and animating. I

can

model, and texture, and other things needed for making videos... but I'm hardly elite, and I am hardly efficient at it. I figure my time is best spent animating; so if I can pay others for their skills in these areas then I can make more, better videos in the same amount of time ^^. I also figure it will be an awesome way to share some love for talented artists in the fandom so why not?

These goals will be pretty high, so I don't know or expect them to be met, but its good to have a plan and a dream right? <3. I'm not asking anyone to up their pledges to meet them; but it might offer insentives for new people to contribute ^^.

Additional Rewards

Due to demand and requests,  I'll be offering the top two tiers access to archived WIP videos; that is, older months progress video and image packs. I'm keen to offer more rewards, so please send any additional suggestions my way.

Payment Status

I still do not have working rights, so my patreon will remain free until this status changes. I'll be sending the WIP packs to everyone monthly; however all other rewards, such as voting rights and HD videos are suspended. The current estimate is still 3 months or so before I am allowed to work; so as of now, I'll switch payments on around June. I will keep supporters updated and give notice beforehand. In the mean time, don't feel bad for getting stuff for free ^^. I'm surprised by how many people have said this to me.

Streams

Now I am settling down I will be in a position to schedule streams regularly. I will be streaming this Monday, so check some time in the afternoon New York time. I'll post the actual time.  Also, I apologise for guests being unable to post in the last stream I did; Picarto added that switch and defaulted it to disabled for some reason. I have turned such comments on now.
