Content

Hey everyone!

This month I want to ask some questions about how I run my patreon. I'll keep them short and focused, since detailed feedback can take time. If you wanted to expand on any topic, then feel free to do so! I appreciate all feedback, as I know that it takes time and effort for you to share it.

The first question I wanted to ask was regarding reward delays. When planning a month, I always aim to release a decent amount of new on the 5th. But things inevitably come up which can either delay my progress, or change what tasks need to be focused on. In the past, I have often delayed rewards so that I can meet an amount of content which I am comfortable accepting money for. For example, had I not delayed content this month, then I would not have had any of the new Andre content in my rewards, which was two videos and two images.

But I want to know what you think about this practice.

Should I delay content in months where I can add something extra which I think is worthwhile? Or do you want me to release content on time, with whatever content I have made to that point?

Just do what feels right for you man. We can be patient

I dunno other people but I understand that this uhm... "method" I mean, CGI animation requires time. Even more if you want to make it look good and update it with better textures and lights or add some more seconds to the clip to make it look better. Good stuff needs their time. And you're doing some astonishing stuff man.

I totally agree with Midnight Yamikidate and Gelty Drake

I don't care about waiting a few days to get more content, no problem. I just wanted to take the opportunity to say that some of the more technical stuff may not interest all of your audience, and I see you spend a lot of time explaining it. I don't get it and almost always skip it in favor of the "good stuff", even if the videos are still kind of unfinished. But that's just me, I don't know about how the rest of your patrons feel about it. Please don't take this the wrong way, ok? I love the stuff that you're working on and know that it takes time to make.

Give us your best when it's ready, just keep communicating with us so that we're not left guessing. Since that's what you've been doing, I'm satisfied.

Echoing a lot of people here already, I honestly appreciate the content I get to see out of the Patreon and the opportunity to help you do it! Give us whatever you can when it's ready. I'll continue to support you regardless. :)

Take your time with stuff. ^^ Ain't no rush.

Take your time dude. It's ok by most of us I'm sure. As long as you're not taking money and releasing anything that's not worth the money paid (or nothing at all) I know I personally don't care for a few days or what not if needed. No Rush, so to speak. That I wish I could wave a magic wand, speak some silly incantation, and get the completed my little kaiju video already LOL. That is seriously looking great (and hot, no pun... well pun intended I guess lol)...

Legeden

As long as you don't get paid enough for this to be your full time job, I am okay with delays.

Everyone's already pretty much said what I wanted to say. If it needs more time for you to release an acceptable amount of content, I am ok with a delay on things.

You are making a fantastic work, your dedication is totally insane (I mean that in a good way :) ). Take as much time as you need!

CtrlAltElite

Personally no issues with the delay, good content takes time. However I believe communication is key. Just a few quick posts during / after your cycle, would work wonders (maybe even include some teaser screenshots).

You are making amazing creations. I have NO problem waiting for them when you are ready to release them! Keep going strong!!
