disabling payment & rewards this month (Patreon)

Hey guys! Just a quick heads up that I won't be taking anyone's money this month. Sorry to disable the payments again so soon after the last hiatus, but I don't think I have the content to justify a rewards cycle.  There should be a regular update next month though!

 

For those looking for an explanation for why I'm lacking content, its mainly three reasons. Most of my work has poured into getting Andre's mesh set up for sculpting and texturing, which has taken a surprising amount of time. (I've made some significant tweaks to his mesh and fixed up a number of areas that needed to be improved. I would not have spent time doing this normally, but I had to adjust the mesh anyway so it would have Mudbox friendly topology. And it looks like the commissioner I who was going to model Andre for me has gone AWOL again. This model will  now be the one used in Rubs, so while I'm looking at the mesh, it was worth upgrading it.) While this has been some real work, its not exactly exciting to show, and it's not something I think supporters in general will feel is valuable for their contribution. (as opposed to say, actual animation :/)

The second is that my current workplace is going through crunch so my hours at home have been cut back significantly in the first place. I've fallen a little short of honest part time hours this month :/

And finally, it now looks like I might be making a sudden trip back to Australia due to an apparent impending death in the family. I was planning on using this coming long weekend to animate like a demon and post some decent rewards (it is 4 days after all), but things don't always go to plan.

All these things have added up to not enough content. Even if I don't end up going back to Australia (its only come up yesterday so I have no idea what I should or will do :/),  I think its best I just step back from patreon this month. I'll still post a monthly update later on though as I have been making progress nonetheless! (some exciting stuff ^^ Or at least, it excites me)
