I am a normal person. I know this to be true. Even by those that like me, I am seen as not normal. I write today to prove that I am.

Before we can understand why I am normal we must discuss why one may think I am not. I am a sexual minority, a sexual deviant, a pornstar to some degree, make a living off of moaning into a mic, meow constantly, want to be a housewife as a boy, and have been stabbed in the neck (an accident.)

These qualities may be rare, but I declare that do not make me abnormal.

Normality and abnormality's definitions are widely used incorrectly. To be normal is believed to be a state where one act in a common and recognizable manner. Abnormality is seen as acting different than what is considered socially acceptable. The true definitions of these words tell a different story.

To be normal in its correct definition is to be healthy mentally and physically. Abnormality is to be unhealthy. There exists a range of normality that encapsulates many different types of people. There is no one way to be normal.

Some accepted social behaviors may not be normal. It is common in my culture to underpay someone for their work because it is believed the employer has the right to due to the business being theirs, but it is not normal behavior. It is abnormal because it demonstrates fiscal violence on an individual. Violence that is not warranted or moral. Despite it being common, it is not normal.

Our peers will tell us we are weird for deviating in the slightest from the social constructed definition of normality. It is truly a challenge to be abnormal, actually. Examples of what true abnormality is are unwarranted violence, self-harm, harmful mental illness, psychological abuse, complete adherence to dogmas, and many more. Even so, exhibiting some traits of abnormality by itself would not make you an abnormal person. In fact, it would be weird if someone never in their life exhibited abnormal behavior. We all do at some point. After all, that's normal.

You do not want to be abnormal person. Anyone who understands what it really means such as yourself, dear Patron, should never want to be so. To be abnormal is to demonstrate more abnormal traits than normal ones. In a sense, being abnormal is being a moral failure of a human being.

Circling back to me, I consider myself a normal boy. I do exhibit some abnormal traits, but everyone does. So next time you think someone is weird or rather yet someone calls you strange or different remember that common behavior does not equal normal behavior.
