It's another fun trip over to Ferndale, MI to talk to Drew, Marc, and Brandon. After we touch on some recent drama in my world we move along to Paul Giamatti's new podcast. They have some format. Actors, who notoriously are dullards without someone telling them what to say, try to have an interesting conversation. Good luck with that. 

Then we check out the very latest with Bill Maher's Club Random. This week's guest is Billy Corgan, the frontman and songwriter for the Smashing Pumpkins. This was actually a pretty interesting interview and I'm happy to bring you the highlights.

Am I losing my mind or have we not got one of these in a while? I'm a patron forever, but this is one of my favourite perks

Again, as I think Karl may have mentioned in the past, one of the big problems with this glut of celebrity hosted podcasts, especially the ones where they try to interview people is that these people think that because they've interacted with show hosts before and been interviewed several times before they'd be great at being a host and/or interviewer. And then, well, they're not. Even Conan O'Brien, who had done interviews for years so you'd think he'd be better at it, is just another celeb podcast host with a show where he and his cohosts laugh way too hard their guests at best okay jokes.

Louis won a Grammy for his special "post-cancelation" so it's hard to say he was shunned. It may seem like Chris isn't shunned because we talk about him a lot but being relegated to just his podcasts and comedy when he was on top of the comedy world is and building an acting career that was about to pop is definitely shunned.
