We are about midway through the book and we stumbled onto four chapters in a row devoted to Jackie Martling. Or as Tommy from MSCS Media would say, Jackie the Jokester. The great Bob Levy joins us this time around to try to figure out why either of these guys liked each other considering John doesn't have a good thing to say about Jackie in his book. 

It's nice to hear John when he could actually string some words together. Before he was brain dead from beers and pills, he was a real dumb guy. Even Perry Caravello is getting on the anti-StutJo train.

You guys missed the point. John couldn’t afford the mtg. On his meager K-Roq salary, that’s the dig to Howard, but he was making $$ in other ways: stocks, and taking advantage of comics

Not that this needs to be said but….these reviews of Johns book are some of the greatest commentary on the internet today. Bob was great too!!!

Fuck Whales became infuriating by the end, at some point early on it is clear Maddox is a creep. While John's book is a repetitive John's stupidity is endless. I seriously want to crowdsource a sequel. This book is a monument to failure.

Fuck Whales biggest problem was you can tell he wrote it without an outline or plan, as you can literally plot on a graph chapter by chapter in terms of word count and see the book slowly gets shorter and shorter by the end, as Maddox almost immediately runs out of ideas/jokes. He free wrote it and didn't edit it in terms of structure, as a competent editor would at least take some of the "strong" chapters at the start and put them at the end so it ends somewhat memorably.

It's not enough that John is the hero of every other story, or the one who makes generous gestures out of pure selflessness, or is the only sane man willing to call someone out, he has to make Jackie the Jokeman look like a total boob while acting like he's fond of the man he's lambasting.

What Infinity is he referring to? All I can think of is the car and audio company and both are just divisions of larger companies. Nissan and Samsung.

That storie about John running out in his underwear is totally true. Jackie himself told the story on episode 039 of the Artie and Anthony Show around 1:30:00 in, I literally just listened to it yesterday
