I can understand how you came to your conclusion. Personally, I don't like Sayaka. She is always condescending to the first years, especially to Yuu. There is a lot of jealousy at play, fuelled again by Touko calling Yuu by her first name in this episode. There is a reason why Touko fell in love with Yuu and not Sayaka, as she can be herself and show her weakness to her, which she could never do with Sayaka. Anyway, from now on I have to be careful with my comments, as I received all the manga volumes today and will start reading them.

Wonderful episode. One of my favorites of the season. This anime just fills my heart, and shite is hella scary right now, so this is a relief. Mat, super happy you are really digging into these anime that I enjoy so very much. More channels need some GL for the tender and exciting vibes.

I am pretty conflicted. And invested. Touka is shown to have the weight of expectations on her shoulder. Everyone wants her to be like her sister. And she herself also loved her sister so much, she embraces the idea, but that is also a lack of self love. I didn't get the feeling Touka would be happy with how she is doing. She said she would rather die, than hear someone saying they apreciate who she is. That especially gave me the impression she dies not do this for herself. Sayaka... She doesn't see her in full, I think. And she supports her way, that I think is going to hurt a lot.... I am totally on Yuus side here, I think Touka needs to hear that SHE can be liked how she is. To me Yuu made the impression that she really cares about how Touka feels. She saw her nervous breakdown, she thinks it is exhausting to put on a mask all the time..
