A New Japan Pro Wrestling name has a contract set to expire this month.

NJPW talent Alex Coughlin’s contract with the company is set to expire in January as of now, Fightful Select has learned.

Coughlin has been a member of Bullet Club War Dogs, and has been a part of NJPW for over five years. As of now, we have not learned if New Japan has approached Coughlin for a new deal. Several members of the stable have contracts set to expire ahead of a major announced match with United Empire.

PLEASE let him resign. Him and the War Dogs have been one of the best parts of NJPW over the last year.

If you guys don't know NJPW contracts run out at the end of the year or end of Jan for their wrestlers. If you have been following wrestling for a bit, you will remmeber Kenny could not sign his deal when the Bucks, Hangman & Cody did, so he had to wait until the second press conference to do so. I think if the new BC is smart, none of those guys leave for years, except for Finley, who will probably only do another year or so before he finally joins his dad and now brother in WWE. I believe Sean reported that Finley was going to possibly join before their hiring freeze, but now he should get a better deal after he leads the BC for a year or 2. Then he will be jumped by Kidd and he will become the new leader when he is ready to join his family. Good stuff as always Sean, HNY to you and yours and have a good weekend.
