Kenny King is now a free agent.

Fightful Select has learned that Kenny King asked for and was granted his release by IMPACT Wrestling this week. King has spent the better part of the last two years there, where he became IMPACT Digital Media Champion along the way. He’s feuded with Joe Hendry, Mike Bailey and others, and came into the company as a part of the Honor No More stable with several other former ROH members. He’s teamed with Sheldon Jean for much of this year.

King finished up at the October tapings for IMPACT effectively, and the IMPACT World Tag Team Title Match against Ace Austin & Chris Bey is set to be his last match in the company for now, we’re told.

The 42-year old King has a lot of acting and reality show experience, and has appeared on TNA/IMPACT, ROH, as well as WWE Tough Enough.

Is he well respected by fans around the world?

Dave Nguyen

He’s a career midcarder where 99 percent of his matches were in North America. There’s also a reason why he never won Tough Enough season 2.

This is a weird comment, because he absolutely should have won Tough Enough season 2. He's be far the most successful wrestler in the first two seasons
