A former TNA mainstay has been working with All Elite Wrestling for quite some time.

There was a lot of talk this week about the future of music in TNA Wrestling, as Scott D'Amore said "“We are looking at some custom music and getting back into that space" to Real Rasslin UK.  This prompted a familiar name to be brought up a lot.

Fightful Select was informed months ago that former TNA music producer Dale Oliver was backstage at an All Elite Wrestling show. However, it's much more than that. When inquiring, Fightful was told that Oliver has actually worked with AEW for quite some time and helps with music in the production truck for AEW's TV shows. His son was also a part of that production team for a while, and now helps the post production team in Nashville when they mix the audio for shows.

Oliver was responsible for many of TNA's most iconic themes, including those that belonged to AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Sting.

If TNA wants custom music back, they should hire Jim Johnson.

Liberal use of the word “iconic”.

Not really. All three of those themes would hold up today. Hell Joe's used some version of the opening to his TNA theme in every company he's been in since.

I wonder if that was why so many TNA theme songs got delisted from Spotify, Google Play before it became YouTube Music, and even their own website. I just wish Kurt Angle's OG TNA theme My Quest got officially released. I love that theme song so much, especially with the guitar riffs(that's what they're called, right?).

Does this have any impact on the status of Mikey Rukus? I hope not, Rukus is awesome at what he does.
