Would anyone watching WWE as well as AEW say that main roster wrestlers holding NXT titles is similar to AEW using ROH titles on their show and deserves the same criticism?

I mean they are using the NXT champion as a midcard main roster title to showcase more talented women on TV soo I don’t think there is any reason to complain tbh

I would say Becky is holding the title effectively & using it primarily to elevate numerous people and showcase them in great matches, and she makes appearances on NXT. Dominik has it as a prop, and it is frustrating to watch talented wrestlers have to slow down to face him, and have to lose to him over and over again. Still, he shows up in NXT for matches- AEW talent holding the ROH belts are not showing up week to week in ROH, which is a big problem imo. You cannot ask ppl to pay for a product where the majority of their belts are simply never there, no matter how good the rest of the product may be. It is also telling that only the ROH women's belt is never shown on AEW tv- it is a way to give more men screentime, and no women, bc that isn't where their interests lie. It's shameful. The ROH belts are being awarded to AEW's top stars in a way that makes them feel like consolation prizes, and it clutters the overall title scene on AEW, while leaving ROH bereft of champions or ROH heavy storytelling for most of their belts. Athena has to hold all of ROH on her back as the sole champion there every week. So no, I would say it's different right now. Becky is drawing more attention to developing & underappreciated women's stars in WWE, Dom puts on matches I don't enjoy, but both show up in some way on NXT almost every week, and have title matches there. The ROH belts used on AEW...there are stats out there showing how little they actually get shown on ROH as of late.
