Sami Callihan is officially a free agent as of midnight.

After years with IMPACT Wrestling, Callihan is now gone from the company in which he became a world champion in. We’re told there doesn’t appear to be any ill will from either side, but a deal was not reached, and Callihan left.

Callihan has people pushing for him within All Elite Wrestling, namely Jon Moxley, who has long maintained a great relationship with Callihan. We’ve heard Sami’s name tossed around in producer roles for other companies as well, as he’s met success running Pro Wrestling Revolver as well.

We’ll be speaking with Sami this week.

Yeah, this would be a great get for any company. I stan Revolver and Sami does a great job.

Callihan would be a big time pickup. And a win/win for both sides - AEW gets a really good wrestling mind and a damn good character that would fit in well in AEW, and Callihan would not only get seen by more people, but also would probably get even more AEW involvement for Wrestling Revolver in the process.

I wish he was able to become World Champion there a 2nd time, cause I feel like his 1st reign was just to push Tessa in their feud. It felt like he was just a transitional champion(even though I could swear he has defended the belt before dropping it).
