Serena Deeb hasn’t been on screen for nearly a year, and we’ve learned a couple of claims why.

Deeb attended the Califlower Alley Club recently, making one of her first public appearances in quite some time. However, Fightful had reported this past Summer that Deeb was sidelined and not factored into creative, but also under contract to All Elite Wrestling. At the time, AEW sources said that she wasn’t injured.

Deeb has told people that she’s dealt with a serious injury and is working to get cleared. However, there were sources within AEW who said there was also a serious disagreement with management last year that led to her being off television.

We’re told that Deeb was very vocal about her use on AEW TV, and especially the time that she was given. Those familiar with the situation claimed that it entered the area of disrespect, as she’d accuse Tony Khan and AEW management of cutting the time for her matches without telling her until they got to the ring. The claim on the AEW side of things was that they actually got a list of times and showed Deeb that her time wasn’t cut based on what was originally budgeted. It’s typical for producers and coaches in wrestling companies to not relay times for matches until they're finalized, as to prevent wrestlers from being upset when inevitable cuts actually happen. Those close to Deeb say they haven't heard this story directly from her, but it is one that several members of the AEW roster and others in the company has heard, but it led to a situation where she had heat.

I'd have been less surprised to hear it was due to her pedophile husband sniffing around backstage.

Glad SRS did some work and not just throw out there’s something but we don’t know like other journalists did

Women's matches being cut for time?? Call me shocked!

Be honest most of you don’t really care, you’re just looking to confirm whatever theory you have come up with about her absence

Wait, so other wrestlers are the one reporting that Serena's matches are getting cut at the last second, yet AEW is apparently trying to say it wasn't? What reason would the random wrestlers have to lie? It'd be a lot safer to take Tony's side unless there's some truth to what they're saying.

There is a remarkable amount of assuming going on here. You just editorialized numerous things and names that were never posted. That is how misinformation spreads. You just chose your own journey
