- For obvious reasons, The Rock's promo was not listed on internal rundowns.

- A spot at the beginning of the Keith Lee promo on Collision made air that was supposed to be trimmed. A marker made it

- The Big Bill/Ricky Starks promo on Collision was used to cover up the production snafu.

- For those asking about the heavy edits to The Rock's promo on Friday, it was because of possible FCC violations as opposed to anything "TV-PG" related. There is nothing connected to TV-PG that actually prevents foul language. It is not enforced like MPAA for movies, and ESRB for video games.

- Since 2021, John Cena has competed in 20 matches. 17 of them have not been on TV.

- Fightful releases an interview with Baron Corbin this week.

Notes from our Nick Patrick Interview from Stephen Jensen

- Nick Patrick says the growth of Deep South Wrestling is largely a testament to the work that the young wrestlers are putting in. He says he had to be talked into running shows inside the Atlanta Perimeter because of the expense. He's happy they are currently running shows at DAS BBQ

- He says they have some of the best talent in the Southeast.

- Patrick reflected on their early shows in a church-turned-studio setting. Says the promotion developed an initial fan base of people in their 20s and 30s, and he enjoyed the bar-like setting.

- Patrick says he was never really close with Eric Bischoff until he did the 83 Weeks podcast. He also says he used to travel with Teddy Long more than anyone, but that wrestling is peculiar in that you will lose touch through the years before ultimately coming together and always having each other's backs when called upon.

- He reflected on the career of his father, "The Assassin" Jody Hamilton. He says he never really got to work with his father much but that his father always enjoyed pulling a good rib behind the scenes.

- Reflecting on being the only referee at nWo Souled Out 97, Patrick says referees used to be calling shows solo all the time, but eventually, the popularity of rough bumps for finishes made it so that you needed more than one.

- Patrick says he enjoyed the spontaneity and the old-school mentality of being the referee for an Undertaker and JBL match because they would call their matches on the fly.

- Patrick encourages fans to check out Deep South Wrestling on YouTube

That John Cena stat seems like such a waste, I wonder if that's a work around having issues with studios for him wrestling.

Is there no heat towards the AEW production team with the repeated issues?

slick

They have been together for like 5 months? That's not a whole lot of time in the live production/digital production world. Most of that time together was once a week too. It's really not a big deal but people going to nitpick because AEW has been under a microscope since day 1

I knew it was a snafu. But with how great Keith Lee did with rolling on. It actually turned out looking cool. imo

I had a feeling there was a flub there with Keith's promo, though I was more confused about the 2nd one with Ricky and Bill. I do love that that one was intentional, though. Though I could swear that Collision is pretaped like Rampage & ROH. Btw, I think Patreon cut a sentence in the Keith Lee mention off.
