Nick Khan sent a message to staff saying they'll be in touch with additional details

"This morning, we announced that WWE and the UFC have officially come together to form TKO Group Holdings, creating a new premium sports and entertainment company. TKO will begin trading today on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "TKO."

A big thank you to all of you for the hard work and commitment that helped us achieve this milestone.

As we now begin this transition, we will be in touch with more details. In the interim, we will be communicating with each of you regarding new policies and procedures. HR will also be available to answer any and all questions you may have.

We know when companies undergo change it can feel like uncertain times. The special culture that WWE has cultivated over its long history is what has allowed our business to flourish and we will be preserving that as WWE and UFC both continue to grow together as part of TKO.

As always, we'll continue to focus on the work throughout this transition and make sure to communicate with all of you throughout the process.

Thank you,

Nick Khan"

Cabana Man Dan Notes. Full Interview Here:

Learned to wrestle after finding an outlaw show at the back of an antique show

Trained with the likes of Lash Laroux, did seminars with Gangrel and Ricky Steamboat, always wants to get in the ring before shows and do seminars.

Worked a lot of Alabama shows with Lash Laroux. Saw the spark in Lash’s eyes during the summer and Lash’s GCW debut didn’t come as a surprise.

Bikini Bottom’s Most Dangerous Dan nickname came from a mix of Ken Shamrock and his love of SpongeBob.

Pretty Patties episode is his favorite episode of SpongeBob.

Says social media has changed independent wrestling and how its distributed

Took six years away from wrestling due to a pinched nerve in his neck that left him partially paralyzed in the arm.

Started working backstage and on commentary at New South and that helped bring him back to wrestling. Also credits The Carnies vs. Viking War Party

Didn’t keep up with wrestling during his time away.

Puts over Full Throttle Wrestling and people like Eric Young, Corey Graves, and Samoa Joe making random appearances.

Jokes that he carried Joe in their tag matching 2007. Praises Joe for his work and says it was a great experience working with him.

Started carrying the New South Title (it’s very huge) in a nasty pillowcase so people wouldn’t touch it.

Danhausen did the make up for the Hausen match (Danhausen, Dan The Dad, Effy & Warhorse defeat Cabana Man Danhausen (Cabana Man Dan), Devon Monroehausen (Devon Monroe), Megabyte Ronniehausen (Megabyte Ronnie) & Pufhausen (Puf)) in 2021. Says the match was really fun.

Thought he had heat with Colt Cabana over a 2000s NWA convention. Someone who claimed to be Adam Pearce’s brother said “there’s already a Cabana in wrestling” so Dan thought they had heat. Met Colt at a $5 Wrestling event and Colt did not punch him, so doesn’t believe there is heat.

“That fucking sucked,” he says about getting hit by the ring bell by Kevin Ku in VIF vs. They Might Be Giants. Says he “got back” at Kevin by pressing flip flop tacks into his head. Says that match was the first time he bled that wasn’t by accident.

Asked about using real glass, “You can, I’m not.” Doesn’t like glass or tacks being used before his match. Has stepped on a leftover tack during his match.

Had a great time at GCW and was really pleased with his matches against Tony Deppen and Blake Christian. Was blown away by the reactions he got.

Got a Singh brother thrown on him Braun Strowman during a WWE backstage segment as an extra. Talked to Vince McMahon about the segment. Had to reshoot the segment multiple times, someone said “fuck” during one shoot.

Says WWE physicals are strenuous and he’s a beat up wrestler so couldn’t always do physical segments.

He says he is currently out injured. Time off has allowed him to heal up a bit. Says he’ll be back soon.
