AEW signs talent to multi-year deal (Patreon)

A prominently featured talent will be hanging around in All Elite Wrestling and ROH for quite a while.

Fightful Select sources have confirmed that Mogul Embassy Affiliates manager Prince Nana is remaining with AEW as he recently signed a multi-year contract with the company. Nana’s work has received high marks within AEW, and significant praise by several on the roster and in management. The deal was done in the last month or so.

Nana has been featured throughout the entirety of Ring of Honor’s existence through multiple runs. In 2022 he revealed that he’d purchased Tully Blanchard Enterprises within storyline. He’s since managed Brian Cage, Toa Liona, Kaun, Swerve Strickland, and briefly AR Fox.

Nana had a WWE tryout back in 2013, and also competed in the ring, though he hasn’t since 2019, and scaled back significantly after 2013.

i like that aew still uses managers or people to compliment their wrestlers, wwe doesnt really do much of that anymore.

Unpopular opinion. I don't think Nana fits with Swerve. He looks like less of a badass with Nana dancing around like a fool. If you're gonna have a comic relief, put Nana with someone else. I feel the same about Alex with Penta.....Penta doesn't need a "hype man" .....Alex looks like a nerd next to Penta.

Hell yeah, Nana gets to dance more to Swerve's theme song! He is an absolute delight to see on TV.

Might as well ask, what did you think about when Penta became Penta Oscuro with Alex becoming his dark priest henchman? Personally, I think it showed Alex's versatility as a character and that he was willing to do whatever if it meant helping his friend Penta. I imagined it as this. Penta: Hey, Alex, I'm turning evil kinda, can you dress up as a dark priest and chant to the theme song I'll be switching to? Alex: Yeah sure, you want I bring a shovel and a tombstone for the entrance, too?
