Fightful Select caught up with another ECW alum  Blue Meanie at the Square Circled Expo in Indianapolis. Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp and Blue Meanie started the conversation by talking about Cincinnati Reds baseball ownership.

Sean mentioned to Blue Meanie he could buy the Cincinnati Reds after he sold his merchandise; Blue Meanie declined and said that Tony Khan has the Wrestling and Sports Ownership down.

Sean would ask what the process was for Blue Meanie to be involved with RetroMania Video Game. Blue Meanie said the creator of the game, Mike Hermann was a lifelong fan of the WWF Video Game WrestleFest, and it was a passion project of Hermann’s. Blue Meanie said he’s only been in two video games before WrestleMania 2000 and the original WWF SmackDown game.

Blue Meanie said being in a game as part of BWO, along with being in the game with Tommy Dreamer, The Road Warriors, and the NWA being involved, made it a no-brainer. Sean would ask Blue Meanie about the other games he had been involved in, and Blue Meanie said his character could be seen in story modes.

Blue Meanie also mentioned that he missed out on getting a WWF Bone Cruncher figure of himself; however, Sean said Blue Meanie had a new Bone Cruncher figure recently released. Blue Meanie told Sean that he was blessed because all this time later, people were finding ECW again because of the [WWE] Network or Peacock.

Sean would wrap up the interview by asking Blue Meanie his secret to not aging. Then, he thanked his wife, Mrs. Meanie, and he said every day he tries to find a reason to laugh every day.

I’d be interested in him wrestling jungle jack. It wouldn’t be good, but it would be fun.
