AEW is coming to Louisville, or at least that's the plan.

Fightful Select has confirmed that AEW is planning to make their Louisville, Kentucky debut on November 1 for AEW Dynamite. The company has registered an event for the date, and it's currently on the Kentucky Boxing & Wrestling Commission calendar.

The show is currently listed for the KFC Yum Center, which is where WWE has traditionally ran. Unfortunately, it is the home of the Louisville Cardinals basketball team, but I'm sure the show won't be terrible just because of that.

Fightful will be on the scene covering that show, as well as other local shows including Lexington in August and Cincinnati in September.

Oh SRS don’t hate on my beloved Cards just because they’ve won a national championship more recently than the cayuts

Alice Hoffman

I love how this is devolving into a UK/UL spat. 😂 PS: Go Cats!

SRS gets it, unfortunately AEW has to share the same building as the Cards

As an SEC guy, I could help bust out laughing on the ACC/ Cardinals jab.

Damn, got the B show. Maybe if our Cards were better we would’ve gotten Collision. #GoCards #GoCollision

Really bad for them to book 3 shows that close together in that short of a time span. As a Kentuckian, glad to have the opportunity, but I fear that the ticket sales for Lexington, Cincinnati, and Louisville will all suffer from over saturation.

The record books say otherwise. UCF made National Championship rings for football a couple of years ago, that doesn’t mean they actually were. lol

Awesome for Kentucky, but I will actually cry tears of joy if they ever realize there’s a western side of the state.

Possibly, but I attended that Final Four in Atlanta and witnessed it happen with my own eyes AND I purchased a piece of the floor the game was played on from the NCAA online shop that says it's the it's from the Championship game. So if the NCAA wants to reimburse me for that piece of the floor, my travel expenses, and the cost of the ticket, maybe I'll consider taking them seriously. Plus, none of those strippers played in the game, so they couldn't have helped ;)

I don’t know, man. I’m gonna probably be at all of them, but the seating map for Lexington isn’t looking good. I hope I’m wrong about over saturation (hard to believe, after so long with nothing, that it might actually be a problem), but we’ll have to see how Cincy and Yum Center look when they finally get announced.

Unfortunately, there isn’t really a large arena in the area. Best you can maybe hope for is likely a show in Evansville at the Ford Center.

And we’ll happily go there, but I will be convinced that Diddle in Bowling Green or the CFSB Center at Murray State would work great for them (at least at current crowd numbers) until I see otherwise.
