Rhea Ripley and Natalya impressed the masses and people backstage on the July 3 WWE Raw.

Fightful Select heard from higher ups during WWE Raw on July 3, who were very happy with the gritty nature of the Natalya vs. Rhea Ripley match. In fact, one was in contact with us to tell us it should be the first thing we watch when traveling back from Money in the Bank.

Both women were said to have taken a real beating during the match and laid in strikes, and ended up very happy with the match, the reaction backstage, and online. Ripley got her mouth busted open, but we've heard that both women backstage told others how much fun they had.

We've also heard that management in attendance were happy with the match.

Say what you want. But when they allow Nattie to go full Nattie she is one of the best in the world.

They should be proud of themselves. Rhea and Nattie bodied it.

The match was awesome. It was great reminder that when she's giving the opportunity Natalya can still show out. Put some respect on the Alberta Legend Natalya's name!

That’s what happens when you give the women more than 2 minutes of match time

Great match. Rhea is incredible and Nattie showed she can go still.

Maybe they should let Nattie be Nattie more often instead of turning her into a glorified jobber. When given the chance, she can still get it done in the ring and we see that in her training sessions with WWE talents online.

Hell yeah they should be happy!! Nattie looked awesome and at one point I said aloud, to no one but me, "that's why she's still here." Hadn't seen a match out of her like that in awhile. Quite the nice surprise given what they both did last week (2 weeks ago?).

She also doesn’t get enough credit for being willing to work stiff or take big bumps. Her vs. Nikki Bella in 2016 is super underrated.

I think Nattie also needs to herself when it comes to her character.

Doogie

I'm glad Nattie got a chance to remind people how good she actually is. She came in when WWE's women's division was at its worst, survived a farting gimmick, and when WWE finally got people on her level, they used her as a stepping stone and never taken seriously.

That match should've been at Money in the bank

Nattie deserves a run outside of WWE where she gets to fight everyone.
