WWE haven’t been announcing their PLE shows as far out as years past, and there’s a reason for that.

We’ve noted on Fightful shows of late, WWE’s desire to maximize buzz around PLE shows. For example, up until now, the scheduled shows have fit a few categories – stadium shows, international shows, or directly correlated to major stories. Though WWE recently announced locations and dates for September and October, Fightful asked why it was being done much closer to the date of the event this year.

WWE sources told Fightful that they’ve tried to be as strategic as possible with PLE events, locations, and announcing them. The factors of Economics, storyline, audience growth are all weighed when making these decisions. They also told us that by announcing the PLE events individually, it allows each announcement to have its own moment.

In 2022, WWE announced all their PLE locations and dates well ahead of time. WWE sources told us they've been very happy with how things have played out for them on PLE shows this year.

Any word on when Wrestlemania 40 tickets will go on sale?

Juan Ortiz

I would assume most likely in the fall like with previous WrestleMania tickets.

Not sure if you caught it yet but Heyman was on Pat McAfee to announce Fastlane in Indy for October. Another good example of maximizing market hype.
