Kevin Ku of Violence is Forever spoke with the Spotlight, notes are below

Trying to find a venue to keep running SUP shows.

Took care of his nutrition and his body during the pandemic. Started to “dial in” early ROH wrestling and wanted to recreate that style coming out of the pandemic.

Match with FTR was supposed to happen a couple of times end of 2021-2022. Talked to Cash and Dax in Nashville and says they spoke to Tony Khan about taking more Independent bookings for the match to happen.

Isn’t sure Tony Khan knows who they are, but believes that if he did, Violence is Forever would be in AEW or ROH.

Motor City Machine Guns are his favorite team, but he’s never wrestled them. Says all four of them want it and it tops FTR for the match they want.

Wanted to be a cohesive team with Dominic when they started tagging together.

Aussie Open said they needed to change the Sadkampf (name before Violence is Forever) name as they’re good friend with Gunther. The name started as a joke and then got away from them.

Compares DPW’s style and presentation to golden age ROH.

Praises DPW for how much they’ve grown in a short time and for being open to so many ideas. Praises their production and putting so much into the vignettes and production.

Recalls 2019 no holds barred tag match against Marko Stunt & Cabana Man Dan where they used skewers and Stunt digging in with the skewers. They wanted to really use the environment and make every spot meaningful. Doesn’t do a lot of deathmatches.

Asked for forgiveness rather than permission in that match as to not mess up any agreement with the Basement East venue.

Says Japan is the cleanest place he’s ever been.

Has a bad back just from poor posture and playing in a band. A broken neck didn’t help.

Eddie Edwards, Tracy Williams, Jonathan Gresham, Tom Lawlor, Gary Jay have chopped him the hardest.

Short term goal is to grow the independent scene and make it viable to make a living. Praises Effy for carving a path for himself.

Long term goal is to give back to wrestling and be involved in some way.

Ah, so Karrion will be the one to cost AJ in his match with Seth Rollins for another feud he's destined to lose. I don't know how they expect Karrion to get over as any kind of threat when he loses all the time.

A.A. aka Double

Violence is Forever should absolutely be getting the same kinda rub The Workhorsemen do on ROH. Plus Dom is a great trainer and a total nerd about wrestling history, he'd be great for helping young talent.
