Huge news. CM Punk played Uno backstage at IMPACT over the weekend.

No, really. CM Punk was backstage at IMPACT Wrestling, and played a round of Uno. While Punk made his latest stop at a company that wasn’t All Elite Wrestling, we learned a little more about his time there, which did in fact involve playing Uno with an IMPACT talent.

While there, we’re told that Punk spoke with over a dozen IMPACT wrestlers, and exchanged pleasantries while there. We’re told in particular he had some kind words for a couple of wrestlers that he met there. Everyone said that he was pleasant, in a good mood, and happy to be there. The same week that Punk showed up at a WWE event for the first time in 9+ years, it was the first time he was at an IMPACT/TNA show that we know of in 19+ years.

There are no plans for Punk to do any kind of work with IMPACT Wrestling, and he’s still slated to lead the AEW Collision brand starting in June.

For a second, I thought he played Evil Uno on something lol

Since he’s friends with Danhausen, I’ll ask what we’re all thinking: Was it very nice, or very Evil (Uno)?

"In a related story, Jon Moxley demanded Punk play him in a game of UNO before returning to AEW. Moxley was quoted as saying, 'It's gonna be just like Rocky 5 and we'll play the parking lot! Except I beat your ass, give you HIV, and bleed all over place!' Punk could not be reached for comment."

1) I love and yet hate that CM Punk is somehow at a point where everything he does, no matter how unimportant, is newsworthy these days(akin to the Kardashians where I saw them trending on Facebook[back when trending topics was a thing on there] for going to a Waffle House). 2) Do you think this is some kind of good will "tour" he's going on of sorts?

How this turn a story

I was here for the pic of Punk cosplaying as Evil Uno

My first reaction was "Why did Punk do something bad to Evil Uno?". Of course they meant Uno the game.

CM Punk practicing to join Da Party’s next Uno stream

If they did, we would have heard about it on Instagram before he rushed to delete it.

Watching Punk from afar is like a field study on narcissistic behaviour. Anyone who has ever known or worked with a narcissist knows how to read this kind of behaviour. It’s fascinating and frustrating at the same time because people are falling for his manipulative crap.

Just walked in on my brother playing UNO with his friends and him being nice to them. I told everyone to leave because how narcissistic he’s being.

I’ve been working with narcissists for almost 17 years, patients as well as colleagues. It’s very typical behaviour of a narcissist after having a huge fallout with someone to be overly friendly with others (friends, family, colleagues, etc.). It’s a way of getting back in control and play the victim card in a “look how nice I am, I couldn’t possibly be as bad of a person others say I am” kind of any. It’s not about Punk visiting friends in other companies. It’s about the motive, the question why he’s been doing that after brawl out, after not having been backstage at a WWE show for over eight years AND showing up in Impact for whatever reason. I’m not sure he knows anyone who’s working there. Punk doesn’t have a good track record when it comes to being social with others, even friends.
