- MLW sees their season finale of Underground on Reelz next week. We're told there are active discussions for a season 2. MLW Fusion will premiere on May 25.

- Alex Kane is set to be a big focus of MLW this summer.

- MLW will be sending talent to NOAH soon.

- Wrestlenomics' Brandon Thurston reported that Nick Khan emailed WWE employees to inform them that they'd be returning to the office next week, for any roles that have been remote.

Part of the email read:

"As I have had the good fortune of meeting with so many of you over the last few months, it has become apparent to me that our business thrives on creativity and unparalleled work ethic. All of us physically together is a part of that. As such, we will be going back to what has always been the case prior to COVID, which is a return to five days a week in office.

Nothing replaces out ability to interact with one another as we collectively continue to built and represent our company. We will all connect better and be better. Monday, May 1, 2023, will be the start of our full time return to office.

For those based in Stamford, our first group has moved to our new HQ and the rest of us will be there shortly. We thank you for your patience with the process. If you have not yet seen it, it is a spectacular work space that we believe you will all be quite proud of.

Thank you for all. "

- Steve Maclin spoke with Fightful Overbooked's In The Weeds this week (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etOD8t478TQ&ab_channel=FightfulOverbooked)

- “Nothing against Canada, but America is the best country in the world.” Maclin says that he’s just doing his job when it comes to hating Canada, but if he could pick one thing that he hates about Canada, it would be Scott D’Amore. “Best job in the world to win the title and hit the president on the same night.”

- Says Nick Aldis needs earn a title shot.

- Interested in working with Deonna on-screen if it made sense.

- Says winning the title the same night as Deonna winning the Knockouts title was an organic moment since both matches got changed before the event.

- Appreciates the trust IMPACT has put in him. “I wasn’t going to let anybody tell me no, and if they did tell me no, I was going to ask why.'

- Knew his story would collide with Josh Alexander when Josh was X-Division Champion. “We knew that’s where it was going to go because we both wanted to work together.” Says his story with Alexander is similar to Bret Hart and Steve Austin. Looks forward to working with him.

- Is going to stretch the shit out of Joel Pearl

- Doesn’t think Jonathan Gresham gets enough credit. “He’s a pure technical genius.” Was open-minded when facing Gresham in a pure rules match. “If you make the rules mean something, it makes the story better.” Would love to do another match like pure rules and revisit the story with Gresham.

- Proud of the match with KUSHIDA and getting fans to bite on KUSHIDA winning despite the majority believing he would win, even if he was going to face Alexander on that night. Thought of ideas mid-match to try and get people behind KUSHIDA. Praises Jimmy Jacobs and Robert Evans for the creative.

- Wants to face KENTA at Multiverse United 2

- Watches a lot of Food Network and HGTV with Deonna. Leaves the room to play video games when she watches reality TV. “I try not to waste my time with Gym, Tan, Laundry.”

- Pukes his guts out before a match.

Jack Cartwheel

Jack Cartwheel spoked with The Spotlight, which airs 11 am ET Thursday.

-Praises Gringo Loco for being a great base for viral cartwheel spot.

-Had been doing gymnastics since he was three, which is where his love of cartwheels comes from. Would perform a Sasuke special in vault gymnastics. “People do cartwheels when they’re happy.”

-Got into wrestling while hanging with his friends and watching WrestleMania 33. “I saw Roman Reigns coming down the ramp and that was a feeling I wanted to chase.”

-Started his training at Supreme Pro Wrestling in 2018.

-Hopes to return to AEW

-Stopped gymnastics due to spondylosis. Says it’s been okay but sometimes it’ll hurt. “It’s more the ankles.”

-Would be Jack Cartheel if he turned heel.

-Says best piece of advice was to be nice to everyone.

-Judaism is very important to him and did a report on Goldberg as a kid.

-Loves seeing the incorporation of Judaism with MJF. Would like to do a Hanukkah segment.

-Would like to face Vikingo, Dolph Ziggler, Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega, and John Morrison again. Would not box John Morrison.

- Used to do a phoenix splash but sprained both of his wrists and cut them out. Feels his finishing move has to be a top rope move. Currently uses the red arrow. Says he’s working on something with “more cartwheel” incorporated.

Joel Pearl

wait why did you mention Maclin threatening me on the air?

TorchCrawler

Can't wait for the Surprised Pikachu Face when a bunch of people quit at WWE Corporate. Like, it sucks that y'all paid a bunch of money for this new office, but for many people like myself, working from home has improved my life tremendously. I stopped getting strep throat every single year due to managers insisting everyone MUST sit in the same big ass room and work on individual tasks like a fucking LAN party.

Tori Melching

I am surprised the office people haven’t been back to work yet honestly.

I’d suspect it has to do with the move out of Titan Tower and into the new office

"hopes to return to AEW"?..who?Maclin? When was he in AEW?

Geo

Man I feel for those people who adjusted their lives since they could work remotely, my life has been so much better not having to worry about sitting in traffic or sitting in a huge ass meeting room where we all have to be on our computers anyways.

CSDX

Yeah, and the return to the office is just in time for that new Covid variant that, from what I've heard, targets your eyes. It's almost as if vaccinating and staying home as much as possible makes viruses like that not evolve into stronger variants.

Rob Sanderson

Cartwheel "cut them out" - I assume "them" means his phoenix splashes, not his wrists. Might make cartwheels kind of difficult to do.
