WWE WrestleMania HOT RUMORZ, Pre-Show news Thread (Patreon)

Hey guys, we'll have a full rundown, producers, discussion and verified backstage news tonight. However, I had dozens of you asking for a rumors thread of things we've heard being discussed backstage.

This will be updated as we get more info.

Confirmed:

- There were some very secretive segment assignments for certain staff, that not even they were privy to the details to.

- There were special entrances pitched for Dominik Mysterio for WrestleMania. WRKD Wrestling has mentioned this as well. We don't know exactly what he'll be doing.

- The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Trophy was sent over from Staples Center to SoFi Stadium today. We're told it's supposed to be involved in an entrance, which would indicate Lashley's involvement

- There were some within WWE who were outright told in previous weeks that the Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens vs Usos match would main event. However, WWE told us the decision would be finalized at this morning's production meeting

- Shotzi's tank is on site for tonight's entrance.

- Props for Xavier Woods were sent in to WrestleMania, even though he's not advertised.

- WWE talent have not been briefed regarding Vince McMahon's involvement or possible attendance of WrestleMania. Talent expects him to be present and public backstage.

- Regarding Gangrel's possible involvement, he was at the Performance Center a few months ago. 

Rumors, unconfirmed.

- We've not been given firm answers on Switchblade Jay White. Tony Khan has said that he wouldn't typically want to sign a talent away from his partners. When we asked people in the know if Switchblade would be on WrestleMania, we've been told "Mania was written and done a long time ago," but weren't outright told yes or no.

- There has been a lot of buzz about a potential Randy Orton return. He's been insistent to those close to him that he's not done wrestling after having a back fusion.

- There were several overtures to attempt to land Stone Cold Steve Austin for WrestleMania. The idea that he could still appear has been picking up traction backstage, but we can't confirm that.
