AEW All Out is a Chicago area tradition, and that will continue, Fightful has learned.

Every year (sans the pandemic 2020 Daily's Place year), the AEW All Out pay-per-view has emanated from the nearby Hoffman Estates at the NOW Arena, formerly the Sears Centre Arena. This has been a tradition dating back to even before All Elite Wrestling existed, when the All In PPV sold out the arena. However, sources familiar with the situation claim that that could end -- sort of.

Fightful Select has learned that there have been discussions of the show taking place in the heart of Chicago at the United Center. AEW has sold out two shows at the arena already, with The First Dance and Forbidden Door both taking place there.

We're told that AEW may still run Hoffman Estates, and the NOW Arena. They held Dynamite, Dark and Rampage tapings in the past as well.

Any venue isn't official until AEW has confirmed it.

at that point AEW should host All In at the United Center the next time

I've heard Hoffman estates is a bad area & there is literally no Uber or Lyft trucks to take you back

Joel Allison

AEW getting hotter should be at United Center.

Any update if the ropes last night AEW used are here to stay?

Makes sense to me, run the bigger more accessible building for the PPV and do Dynamite and Rampage at the NOW arena

Aew is heading in the right direction booking nba/nhl arenas for their ppvs. Next Is big stadiums. Forbidden door would be great in a stadium but the rogers centre is not the same anymore.

Not a fan of 1/4th of AEW PPV’s exclusively being somewhere. Even if it was where I lived every year I feel like that’s lame and doesn’t give other fans the chance to go

Kurtis Allen

Going back to The UC, eh? Must have some local talent to help sell it out.

This is definitely going to stir up more rumors that Punk is returning. Overall, moving to the United center feels more big time for the PPV. Good move I think

Brian Bayless

Booking the United Center without Punk being there is very risky IMO so guess that means Punk probably going to return?

BKRMKR

Nice area, actually, but yes... logistically challenged. It's as much "Chicago" as Ft. Worth is to Dallas.

I don’t see them ever getting to big stadiums in our lifetime

Have Dynamite and Rampage at the NOW, All Out at United. Fan Fest idk, I imagine it might get moved to somewhere close to the United since it’s the day before

Chris Mate

I wonder if they would do dynamite/rampage at NOW and the ppv at united as they have done that with a few shows now running the smaller venue for TV. Or they could always just save NOW for the Thanksgiving show and let united have all out weekend

Funny thing, I live just ten minutes away from the NOW Arena.

With the assumption that Punk would be there, of course. Also, the assumption that Danielson would be there...and fingers were crossed for the return of Kenny. Lots of factors went into that sell out.

Raymond Slover

Double or Nothing has always been in Vegas. So actually 1/2 of the PPV's are in the same locations.

TBH they should do dynamite and Rampage at Wintrust Arena and All Out at the United Center. Hoffman estates is peaceful and quiet and perfect for locals that have a car, but not really the ideal destination for any out of town fans.
