The new IMPACT Wrestling Tag-Team Champions Chris Bey and Ace Austin of The Bullet Club joined Fightful's Wrestling Perspective Podcast this week. The show is hosted weekly by Lars Frederiksen of the Punk Rock Band "Rancid" and Dennis Farrell. This week, they spoke with the wrestling veteran on various topics.

Chris Bey was asked about the opportunity to help rebuild the relationship between IMPACT and New Japan. Bey put a lot of responsibility on his shoulders, he said. Bey said he knew it was something he needed to knock it out of the park.

Ace Austin said when IMPACT sent them to the Super Juniors, they realized that placing them together would be an excellent way to represent IMPACT. He knew Jay White was aware of his presence from the previous run in IMPACT. Chris talked about the history of The Bullet Club, and he believes that Bullet Club is the greatest faction that has ever existed.

Chris initially thought he would have a short tenure with Bullet Club. He talked about how Bullet Club will never go away, and this is something that's going to last forever. Ace would recall the time Jay White won the IWGP Heavyweight title, and he, along with the other Bullet Club members, celebrated the win in the ring with beer, confetti, and thousands of fans. He said  Luke Gallows looked over at him and said, "it's damn cool, isn't it." Ace said he knew then that that was a moment that he needed to sink in and see that he was really part of it all.

Ace mentioned that a great thing about IMPACT Wrestling is that they can take bookings outside the company and work the indies. Ace spoke about Sami Callihan being his mentor and that he would travel with him to shows while trying to make connections and get opportunities. Ace said that was how things fell into place for him. Ace also mentioned that April 4th would mark the eighth year that he has been in Pro Wrestling.

This interview with IMPACT Wrestling's Chris Bey and Ace Austin will be available for viewing on Fightful's Youtube channel or download or stream on your favorite podcast platform on Sunday, March 12th, at noon EST.
