Update On Good Brothers' Status With IMPACT Wrestling, NJPW (Patreon)
Content
The Good Brothers are still heavily figured into the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Title scene, but many expected their deals to be up in mid-July. However, we're told that has changed.
Originally, the contracts of both men were set to expire on July 17, just after this weekend's tapings in Louisville. We've learned from Impact sources that the Gallows and Anderson are with the company "at least until late in the Summer". The two joined IMPACT after being released by WWE, and said they were given the same deal IMPACT offered when they were impending free agents in 2019. Since joining IMPACT, the two have been heavily pushed and have won the tag team titles twice.
We don't have an indication as to where the Bullet Club duo is likely to head after that period, but it was reiterated to us that a return to IMPACT is possible. We've spoken two people from at least two companies who have indicated there's interest in them, and they've worked New Japan Pro Wrestling Dates numerous times over the past year, in addition to AEW.
In researching for this story, we learned that the two are committed to NJPW through at least Wrestle Kingdom, as well.
