Fightful Select reported about a couple of last minute tracks Mikey Rukus had to produce, and we've learned about a couple more from our interview with him.
Recently, the former Erick Rowan, now known as Erick Redbeard popped up in AEW. AEW music producer Mikey Rukus had to produce a song on short notice the day of his return and put together something before the show. However, Tony Khan preferred a different song and they decided to use the quickly produced theme at some point down the line. However, they had to get the theme that Redbeard used cleared before television, which led to them hunting down who produced the song. They were able to do that, and the theme Redbeard ended up using actually wasn't a Rukus production.
Another last minute situation was the Lucha Bros. entrance the week of All Out. That week, Rukus had to produce music for Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole, and was asked by Alex Abrahantes if he wanted to perform alongside Lucha Bros for the entrance. Rukus said he hadn't even gotten official word that Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole were coming in, and was just working on their theme music because he assumed that they were coming in. He put over Sandra, the AEW seamstress for making sure that he looked okay before going out.
