WWE had planned internally to bring in major act to Mania weekend (Patreon)

WWE had tentatively planned the NWO to be a part of WrestleMania weekend to some degree, Fightful is told.

Ahead of Scott Hall's passing, Fightful heard that WWE had planned to bring in him and other members of the New World Order to WrestleMania weekend for a promotional spot for their new WWE 2K22 game. The NWO are cover athletes for the most expensive iteration of the game, which released publicly the day that Hall passed away.

We aren't sure if WWE still plans on bringing in members of the New World Order, but Fightful had been made aware of plans to do so prior.
